Over our 45 year history being an ACB member has proved its worth in several ways. Here are some of the examples: Products and Services Program: ACB works with over fifty bank product and service providers offering hundreds of to our member banks. The 2025 purchase volume totaled in the millions. The savings and value-added features from the purchases enhanced revenue and in many cases offset the annual dues for participating banks. Education & Training: ACB education opportunities continue to deliver top quality live, streaming, recorded self-paced educational and training programs all at competitive prices. ACB’s partnerships with the Community Bankers Webinar Network; ICBA Education; Center for Financial Training and the Barret School of Banking provides vertical education opportunities for every level within the bank as well as the Board of Directors. Communication: ACB constantly searches for effective ways to distribute meaningful information. The ACB NewsWatch electronic weekly newsletter delivers industry news to over 2,000 community bankers at all levels in the bank. In addition, for 35 years our quarterly magazine the Arkansas Community Banker keep cutting edge articles notices and advertisements in front of our members. Both of these publications are value-added features included in the ACB annual membership dues. Advocacy: Thanks, in no small part, to your efforts and our partnership with ICBA, ACB, as the exclusive voice for Arkansas community banks, successfully advocates at the state and national levels presenting a community bank perspective on issues affecting your bank. While ACB and ICBA staff play a tremendous role in our advocacy efforts, nothing gets our elected officials attention better than personal contact from individual community bankers. The ACB maxim, “no lobbyist is as effective as a constituent”, says it all. Through the ICBA “Be Heard Grassroots Action Center” and the ACB “Locate Your Legislator”, personally delivering your message to your state and congressional representatives and senators could not be easier. Value Proposition: When it comes to membership value, ACB is close to, if not at, the top of the list. ACB membership dues are among the lowest of any financial institution association in the country. All of the above benefits are included in the ACB annual dues and available for use at your discretion. We believe that is a significant value proposition. |
